SCHOOL FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED, ALANDI

When one of the senses weakens all the other senses work so effectively that the person develops the ability to feel life like nobody else can. This was the realization we have every time we visit the school. The intelligence, the co-ordination between other senses, the joy that the visually impaired felt made us feel so humble! Their touch touched more than the superficial gratification, their ears could hear more than the noise and they could smell and taste more of life than anyone of us present there. As a token of appreciation and to help them get the most out of their existing sensory organs, we gifted toys and models that helped them learn better.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT MISSION

In April 2015, Evergreen undertook the responsibility of growth and development of a village near Nigdi-Budruk. Our focus is to ensure holistic development of the village and build a sustainable growth model. In the coming years we are dedicating our time, sweat and money in making the village self-sufficient. We have started a school which is fully equipped with the latest technology. We are building various facilities for basic livelihood, good hygiene, education, skill-development and connectivity with the urban world.
