The company was started by Mr. Chandan Shah in the year 1991 with the aim to reduce deficiencies in the crops by making primary & secondary nutrients available to them and providing them with a wholesome diet, thereby enhancing their nutritional value and making the crops resistant to diseases and pests. Today, it caters to the whole range of crops by manufacturing not just Multi-Micronutrients but Bio-Fertilizers, Bio-Pesticides, Plant Growth Promoters, Bio-Stimulants and Water Soluble Fertilizers (WSF) under the brand name of AGRO-MAX.

Evergreen Micronutrients Pvt. Ltd. has its manufacturing units in India at Devachi Uruli – near Pune – and has offices and warehouses in Maharashtra (Pune, Jalgaon, Dhule, Aurangabad, Akola, Nagpur, Nashik), Madhya Pradesh (Indore), Chhattisgarh (Raipur), Odisha (Cuttack), Haryana (Hisar) and Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow). To meet the growing awareness and demand for micronutrients, the company has developed 2 new factories – Jadhavwadi (Pune) and Jadhavgarh (Pune) in 2019.
